Decades of research and development have contributed toward producing Qube Buildings own Bio-SIP™ systems, which we are excited to release to market. Here at Qube Buildings, we seek to embrace an ethos of constant improvement, and strive to integrate the most sustainable materials once they have been carefully evaluated and qualified. We believe our composite panels can become the preferred choice for modular buildings moving forward, and will also play an integral part in the future of construction.
Bio-SIP boast high performance insulation technology with a plant based, water-resistant composite coating. Bio-SIP have been engineered to deliver outstanding thermal performance, derived from genuinely sustainable sources, including 100% recycled PET plastic drinks bottles, that would otherwise be headed for landfill.

We don’t use glue in the process of building our garden studios, and so all components of the studio can be reused and repurposed. What an exciting prospect for the future of our planet!

Our Bio-SIP™ are made from fully sustainable materials like bio-resin and fast growing natural fibers like hemp and flax. The natural fibers arrives at our factory in rolls and before processing, it resembles something that looks similar to coconut matting. The matting is then coated in a sugar resin, which is heat bound to the insulating core, forming our signature composite panels. The core is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles (PET,) offering superior insulation and thermal properties. Our Bio-SIP™ is both lightweight and extremely durable as a result, making Bio-SIP™ highly suitable for the construction of modular buildings, both large and small.
On site at a beautiful home in the heart of Surrey, we are installing a 5mx3m Garden studio, built using our Bio-SIP™ systems. The panels arrive flat packed, each panel is designed to be carried by no more than two persons. The panels are lightweight and easy to transport and assemble, making the process of installation straightforward and manageable in around two days. Our drone footage shows the panels laid out and ready to be erected, whilst the time lapse video gives a helpful idea of what an installation looks like, and just how achievable it is to install a Garden studio in your garden. Qube Buildings are able to provide a range of different finishes to suit your preference.
